New Mexico has some beautiful scenic places, but sometimes the most beautiful place is your own back yard.
These photos were all taken in my yard. I chased that butterfly around the bush for 10 minutes on a windy day to get the shot above.
The Bird of Paradise bush grew from a seed given to me by my friend Carolyn who died of breast cancer in 2007. Carolyn was an adventurer and a fountain of interesting facts about all kinds of things. She is sorely missed. |
